When buying a digital camera from Dell, does it not come with accessories?
i recently bought a canon powershot sd1100 from dell which is still being processed. it wasn’t clear if the battery charger was included w/ the camera. when i checked other stores and the canon website, it shows that the charger is "included" in the box. is it possible for dell not to include all original accessories, yet charge the same price? i will be calling them to find out, but i’m just curious and will be upset if i realize that i have to pay extra for something that should be included. thanks!

How much should a young teenager charge for photography?
I’m a young teenage photographer, and some friends and neighbors have been asking me to take pics of their children, etc. for them and they will pay me. I already have a Canon Rebel XS camera and camera accessories, but how much should I charge per hour? They will cover transportation and prints, so they just want the digital images (like on a flash drive or memory card). I am a talented photographer, winning recent competitions. Hope to get an answer soon…
Canon PowerShot SD980 IS first look
The Canon PowerShot SD980 IS is a bit of a reworking of the SD960 IS. That model’s design and features were sort of a letdown. The SD980 turns things around, though, by using a wider lens with longer zoom range, a bigger and now touch-screen LCD, and some improved physical controls. Photo and video quality and performance remain very good for its class, but there’s room for improvement, too. The SD980 is worth the extra money above the SD960, especially if you’re interested in the touch-based controls. The Canon PowerShot SD980 IS is a bit of a reworking of the SD960 IS. The SD980 is worth the extra money above the SD960, especially if you’re interested in the touch-based controls. For a first effort, the SD980’s touch-panel controls are reasonably well executed and the screen is fairly responsive and can be calibrated to your touch. Much like Panasonic’s Lumix FX500, Canon only uses the touch screen for a handful of shooting features, while a majority of its functions and menu navigation are still handled by physical buttons. And actually, if you don’t want to use the touch interface, you don’t have to at all. The best use for a touch screen is for …
